The "Brow-Tox" Alternative: How to Lift Your Face with Makeup

Sharon Simbolon

You don’t need a needle to get a face lift. You just need to change the angle of your arch.

As we get older (or just more tired), our features naturally tend to pull downward. "Brow-Tox" is a huge trend, but before you book that appointment, try this 2-minute makeup trick that uses the physics of your face to create a "Foxy Eye" lift.

The Lifting Technique

  1. Stop the "Drop": Most people follow their natural brow tail too far down toward the cheek. This "closes" the eye. Instead, end your tail a few millimeters earlier and flick it slightly outward toward your temple.

  2. Highlight the Bone: Use a tiny bit of concealer or highlighter right under the arch. This creates a visual "shelf" that makes the brow appear higher.

  3. Brush Up, Not Out: Use a spoolie to brush your hairs vertically. This "opens" the eye area and gives an immediate youthful boost.

The Essentials: Use our Feathered Dip Brow to draw 3-4 upward strokes at the very tail of your brow. It creates an optical illusion that pulls the whole face upward.
